OnJuly 17, 2025, fb88 Joint Stock Company officially announced the appointment of Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh, General Secretary of Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA), as Strategic Advisor to fb88.

Accordingly, at the 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, the Meeting approved the dismissal of Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh from his position as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and recognized his transition to the role of Strategic Advisor, in order to continue accompanying and supporting the Company’s long-term development strategy.

Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh is a well-known financial and investment professional in Vietnam with over 27 years of experience in banking and finance. He has served as General Secretary of the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) since 2009 and is currently an independent board member at several enterprises. Previously, he worked as Deputy General Director at SOVICO Group from 2022 to 2023, Chairman of HDCAPITAL Fund Management Company in 2023, Chief Executive Officer at VNDirect Securities from 2020-2022. Before that, he spent 22+ years (from1997 to 2019) of working in BIDV head office in different positions including credit officer, FX&MM dealer, head of the curr trading dept, CEO of BIDV International Hongkong and head of treasury. 

As Strategic Advisor, Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh will continue to work closely with fb88 in shaping its vision and long-term strategic direction. Leveraging his extensive experience and wide professional network, he will contribute to enhancing transparency, advancing the professionalization of the credit rating industry, and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of Vietnam’s capital market.
